    Bedmi Puri is a very common and authentic recipe in India, here in this blog I will share a unique way of making Bedmi Puri.

    Puri is always been the source of happiness in childhood days if you are a 90s kid or even if you belong to generation Z ... I remember we siblings used to exclaim with pleasure if we got a breeze of frying puris from the kitchen... Innocent and incredible those days 😍 were...

    So no need to mention but still adding, Puri is one of the highly popular items of main courses as well as of breakfast and brunch all over India.  Bedmi Puri is something that can never go out of fashion because of its alluring taste.

    Though Bedmi puri is said to be originated from
    Rajasthani cuisine, basically puris has ample varieties are there in existence I must say each household in India has there own particular way to make puris as some make puris with wheat flour, some make it with whole-purpose flour and some tend to make with mixing both in significant ratio with gram flour or some other flour, in the same way, some like puri with high flavored spices, some like with mild spices and some people takes it without even salt... The purpose of this elaboration is to realize how many varieties of puris are flourishing in our Indian cuisine.

    Here in this blog, I will tell my readers the unique recipe of Bedmi puri or udad daal ki puri or kachori...thrice have the same meaning... as per the popularity people calls it by different names but in all the name emotions are the same for my trispy crispy. & Yammi... 

    Bedmi Puri Ingredients 

    For 25 to 30 puris 

    Wheat Flour: 500 gm

    Whole-purpose flour: 200 gm

    Udad daal Or Black Gram Split: Use coarse powder for good result.. 300 gm

     Refined or Desi Ghee: 500 ml

    Salt: Half teaspoon

    Carrom seed: A teaspoon

    Black cumin & Regular Cumin: half tea spoon each

    Kasuri methi: A fist of

    Garam Masala: A big spoon

    Rice Flour or Semolina or Wheat Flour for dusting

      If you prefer more spicy, add a spoonful of red chili powder while making a mixture of atta.

    How to Make Bedmi Puri

    Preparation Method of Bedmi Puri Atta: Except for Ghee mix all the ingredients in a bowl then add 3 big spoons of ghee to the mixture and mix well with the help of your hand.

    After mixing all the stuff properly start pouring water into it slowly and carefully, take a look if this dough should neither be so tight as stone nor so soft as the dough of chapati.

    After resting a while this dough will ready for making our delicious puris so take it for the rest of 10 minutes.

    How to Fry Puri

    Now make small balls from all the dough you prepared, with the help of rice powder and a rolling pin and board, turn these balls into puri.


     Now the time of spreading a tempting breeze out there, heat  a cauldron or a pan whatever suits you pour the rest of the ghee into it, and allow it to heat properly,

    After getting heated up, start frying puris one by one, and yes this way you have done with a very tasty trendy brownie Bedmi Puri that you can serve with Aalu ki Sabji, Kathal Curry or Kathal Kofta or with anything you like to have.
